Temporary Farewell

Recently I came to the decision that I needed a long break from this (blogging).
There is a lot going on in our lives right now (good and bad) that's keeping me distracted from being able to sit down and post an entry now and then. And unlike many of you that can relate their daily lives so eloquently, I am at a loss as of late to be able to. Life seems to have gotten a bit too large and challenging. This is an egg that I can eliminate from the proverbial basket for the time being.
I will be back.
Blessings, Julie

Blessings on you during this hiatus, Julie. I know how you feel, and commend you for the decision. "The world is too much with us" seems to sum it up at times.

May the Lord minister to you on every level, and answer every need by His loving mercy. I'll miss your photos and good thoughts.

Wendy, thanks for your kind words. We do have some overwhelming spiritual issues going on and I definitely need His mercy and grace right now.
Blessings to you and yours, Julie

Blessings while you're away. I don't know your circumstances, but I shall remember you in prayer. *He* knows that we are dust....

Look forward to hearing from you when you are ready to return

I understand. Blogging should be a pleasure and not an added pressure.

Isaiah 41:13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

I love this verse. I imagine the Lord coming up to me and taking me by the hand and pulling me along out of danger.

I don't know what struggles you are having - our Lord knows. Find some peace and rest! I'll look forward to your return :)

Brownie, thanks for your kind words. My mom is currently in the hospital after having knee replacement surgery. I will need to help her out a great deal when she comes out. We're also continuing with school this summer and then there's the whole church issue that seems to go on and on.... Anyway, I've just had enough and am going to try and stay away from the computer for awhile. Again thanks and the verse is spot on :-).
Jenn & Anne, thanks for being such encouragers :-).

Hang in there Julie. Your blog will be here when you are ready to return. In the mean time, it sounds like you have higher priority items to attend to. said...

As others have said, I definitely understand. Enjoy the family, enjoy the days, enjoy the Lord and His ways.

So sorry to hear about the chicks. That had to be a big let down. Our rooster is spending his time at the corner of the fence driving the visiting dog crazy. She has worn out the grass running around the corner trying to get at him.
I sure do miss your blog. Hope all is moving smoother for your family.
