Perseverance

Four O'Clocks

Even though we were really dry this past spring and summer, and much of my flower beds were utterly destroyed by dogs and chickens seeking damp, cool earth for a respite,...our faithful Four O'Clocks survived.

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.   ~Romans 8:28~

Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:   ~Philippians 1:6 ~

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.    ~1 Corinthians 15:58~

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.    ~Galatians 6:9 ~

Blessings, Julie

Thank you, Julie. I needed that this morning as I comptemplate taking on a coaching position in the few afternoon hours still open in the day. A job I have fun doing, but is it worth it for the family. Will do it for the Lord if it is my job at the end of the week.

Wow! it was published. That's the first comment in weeks that has gone through. Day's looking better already.
Have a great day, Julie.

Those are perfect, encouraging verses to read this morning! Sometimes I have issues when I remember that I am not perfect, but then I remember that the Lord is still working on me!

Thank you!
